Story

Meet Lara!
Named after a good friend of mine which we met at the corners of the online social media platforms. She has a beautiful apartment with really nicely curated things and lots of ceramics here and there. She is one of my biggest supporters and actually had made this Vase previously and was forgotten in one of my drawers and she was the one to find it and give it life again. Made me think. Hmm maybe I need to give this Vase another chance!

I love the shape, and I think its a cute sphere mini vase – The stripes was a new idea that I think will never happen again because of its time invensitivity haha. But it turned out beautiful! Hope wherever she lands she is as happy as Lara with her pieces <3

The material:

This Brainy Glaze is so special to me, because it can’t be recreated :( The thing is, that I have been trying for over a year now to develop the perfect crawl glaze (it looks beady and has lots of texture) as I always do 100g tests, usually, if the glaze doesn’t turn out the way that I want then I won’t use it. Before trashing the test glaze, I combined over 40 tests into a bucket. This beautiful brainy glaze was born and I am so sad that it is so good. So once this bucket is done, then it is done for ever! I mean, look at the beautiful shade of light blue, with hints of a darker blue speckle, those bubbles that form as well as the crawl effect it creates. love love it haha.
